A pinkish-gold nail polish

לא, הפעם זה לא לק שלי. זה לק חדש של אמא שלי. לק אנונימי מס' 18 בצבע זהב ורדרד שנמרח באחידות ובקלות בעזרת המברשת הקטנה שלו והרחבה מאוד. שכבה אחת הספיקה כדי להדגיש את צבע הלק היפה, אבל הבהיר מדי לצבע העור שלי. על הציפורניים של אמא שלי, לעומת זאת, הוא דווקא נראה מהמם (אפילו שעלה רק 5 ₪). עם זאת, צירפתי דווקא את הצילומים שלי...

No, it's not mine. It's my mom's new nail polish! A pinkish-gold enamel no.18, in a bottle that has no label on it… meaning an anonymous producer. I applied it easily on my nails using its tiny but very wide brush and didn't need an additional layer. I got a smooth and charming result, although too light for my skin color. BTW, it looked better on my mom's nails. I attached some pictures of mine :-)

TopBeauty 255: A glowing pink

זה לא כ"כ פשוט לבחור את הלק היומי, אפילו שהמבחר אצלי לא עצום. היום זה לקח לי כמה דקות ארוכות עד שציפורניי בחרו בעצמן את טופּבּיוטי 255, קרם ורוד חזק וזוהר, אולי אפילו ניאוני. כשפתחתי את הבקבוק אחרי שקניתי אותו, הזדעזעתי מהריח (ומהצבע) ומיד סגרתי בחזרה. הפעם אזרתי אומץ, לקחתי נשימה עמוקה, פתחתי שוב ומרחתי את הלק בנדיבות. נכון שיצא יפה? :-)

TopBeauty טופּביוטי 255

It's not easy to choose one out of many… Today, it took me a few long minutes hahaha, and at the end my fingernails voted in favor of TopBeauty no. 255, a deep and creamy glowing pink. When I first opened it, I was shocked! Its vile smell and color made me close that vial that very moment... This time, I took a deep breath and generously applied the polish on my nails.
I liked the result :-)

CHIC no. 277 לכבוד טו' בשבט

גם אותו ממש לא תכננתי לקנות. חיפשתי בסטנד של שיק את 299 שהוא הראשון ברשימת הקניות שלי, אבל לצערי לא היה להם. ניסיתי להיזכר בעוקבים אחריו ברשימה ולא הצלחתי... לאכזב את עצמי? אין מצב! המשכתי לסובב את הסטנד עד שעיניי נאחזו בלק קרמי מס' 277 בצבע שמזכיר שזיף כהה. זהו! את השזיף הזה אלבש לכבוד טו' בשבט :-) ואכן לבשתי אותו. בשכבה הראשונה הוא נראה אדמומי, בשניה אדום-חום, ובשלישית אדום-חום שזיף סמיך ועמוק... וואוו! יצא חלק ומהממממם. איך אמרתם שקוראים לצבע הזה? ומפירי?

 

 

 

 שיק CHIC 277

I really didn't plan on buying this one :) They didn't have any Chic no. 299 there, and I couldn't recall any of the other numbers in my "nail polish wish list", so… let myself down? No way! I looked all over that rotating stand until my eyes were captured by a creamy polish whose color reminds one of a dark plum. Great! I'll wear it for Tu BiShvat (The Jewish holiday marking the new year for trees). And so I did. The first layer seemed pretty red on my fingernails, the second layer browned-red, and the third looked deeper and thicker.

Definitely a stunning result!!! Don't you think so?

Nineteen bottles

בסה"כ 19 בקבוקים יש לי באוסף הלקים שלי. אוסף אמנם צנוע שרובו לקים זולים, אבל בהחלט מכובד הייתי אומרת. ארגנתי אותם בשורות על מדף רחב ליד שולחן המחשב שלי, כך שתמיד(!) יהיו בשדה הראיה שלי :) אבל הסדר שלהם לא קבוע והוא תלוי במידת החיבה שלי לכל אחד מהם, כך שמדי פעם אני מסדרת אותם מחדש...

השבוע, הוורודים-חומים היו אלה ש"דיברו אליי" יותר מהשאר אז קידמתי אותם לחזית, ואת האדומים שהיו שם העברתי אחר כבוד למנוחה איפשהו מאחור. 

נו... גם אתם מייחסים חשיבות למיקום האוסף ולמיקום כל לק? או שרק אני "משוגעת"? :)

Yes, only 19 bottles. That's my intire nail polish collection. Indeed, it's not much, yet it's quite a decent collection I believe :)

They are all placed on a wide shelf close to my desk, organized in rows according to my love for them, so from time to time I rearrange their positions…

This week, I felt like "browny-pink", so I moved those with these shades of pink to the front, and the red ones that where there were moved to somewhere in the back.
