CHIC no. 306 : A cherry bomb

הלק הזה הוא לק לאירועים מיוחדים. נקודה! אדום מוזהב שימרי שמעניק לאצבעות מראה של ליידי, והופך את הלובשת אותו למסמר הערב. 

כשמרחתי את השכבה הראשונה לא ראיתי שום נצנוץ או משהו מיוחד באדום הזה, אבל היא היתה אטומה ואת זה אהבתי. אח"כ מרחתי את השכבה השנייה ואז כבר נדלקתי. יוקרה! זה הרושם שהלק הזה יוצר :-) ולא, זה לא Cherry bomb של ORLY, למרות שהוא מאוד מאוד דומה לו. זהו לק מס' 306 של שיק (האיכותי, אבל זול הרבה יותר), הלק ש"בגללו" התענגתי על ציפורניי במשך שעות ארוכות. גם אתם מוזמנים להתענג עליו...

 

  

 

No doubt, this nail polish is designed to be worn to the Oscars ceremony or at least to a prom. A shimmering golden red enamel that makes a woman look like a lady. A cherry bomb! I would call it…
When I applied the first layer I didn't notice anything special, except the fact that it was already opaque. Then I applied the second layer and… Wow! It completely turned me on.
Prestige! That's the word to describe the impression it makes :-) And we're not talking "Cherry bomb" by ORLY. No, no, no! hahaha. It's the CHIC no.306, Cherry Bomb's twin…  Cheap, yet high quality. It costs half the price and even less.
Now, When will I wear it again? :-)

CHIC no. 311: A creamy pinkish-red

בפעם הראשונה לא אהבתי אותו. הוא היה נראה לי קצת זקן כזה, אחד שמתאים לסבתא. בפעם השניה הוא כבר היה נראה לי לגיטימי אבל עדיין לא התלהבתי. בפעם השלישית כבר התאהבתי בו... עכשיו כולנו מבינות למה לא כדאי לפסול שידוך אחרי פגישה אחת בלבד ;-) וקחו בחשבון שהספיקו שתי שכבות די קמצניות ללא טופ-קואט. 
נא הכירו את שיק 311, לק אדום-ורדרד קרמי עם ברק פנינתי משגע. זה בסדר, אתן יכולות לקנא. הוא ניתן להשגה בסטנדים של שיק ברחבי הארץ :)

At first I didn't like it. It seemed kind of old, like one that suits a granny. Then I thought it was legitimate but I wasn't yet excited. After that, I already fell in love with it… So now we all understand why it's advisable not to reject a match after just one date ;-) And in this case, you should consider that 2 thin layers with no top-coat above were enough and did a very good job… 
Please meet CHIC no. 311, a creamy pinkish-red nail polish with a gorgeous pearly shine :)

CHIC 314: A gaudy red

ברור שאילו הייתי יודעת מראש לא הייתי קונה אותו. התאורה בחנות היתלה בי קשות וגרמה לי להאמין ששיק 314 הקרמי הוא בורדו. איזה בורדו ואיזה נעליים... בשכבה הראשונה הוא אמנם נראה אדום-כחלחל תמים, אבל בשכבה השנייה כבר התגלה פרצופו האמיתי: אדום זועק! ה' ישמרנו :-( איזו מכה! מה לי ולצבע אדום מחוצף?! זהו, למדתי את הלקח - לא להאמין אף פעם לצבעים כפי שהם נראים בתאורת החנות. ובבקשה תסלחו לי על המריחה הרשלנית של הלק.

 

 

It's as plain as day that I wouldn't buy it if I had known in advance. It was the lighting in the store that deceived me and made me believe that the creamy CHIC 314 is maroon :(  Maroon my foot!!! The first layer indeed looked an innocent bluish-red, but the second layer already revealed its true character: a gaudy red! What a mess... What have I got to do with this cheeky red?! I hope next time I'll have learnt my lesson - never trust the colors under the light in the store!
And please forgive my sloppy application of this polish.
 

CHIC no. 277 לכבוד טו' בשבט

גם אותו ממש לא תכננתי לקנות. חיפשתי בסטנד של שיק את 299 שהוא הראשון ברשימת הקניות שלי, אבל לצערי לא היה להם. ניסיתי להיזכר בעוקבים אחריו ברשימה ולא הצלחתי... לאכזב את עצמי? אין מצב! המשכתי לסובב את הסטנד עד שעיניי נאחזו בלק קרמי מס' 277 בצבע שמזכיר שזיף כהה. זהו! את השזיף הזה אלבש לכבוד טו' בשבט :-) ואכן לבשתי אותו. בשכבה הראשונה הוא נראה אדמומי, בשניה אדום-חום, ובשלישית אדום-חום שזיף סמיך ועמוק... וואוו! יצא חלק ומהממממם. איך אמרתם שקוראים לצבע הזה? ומפירי?

 

 

 

 שיק CHIC 277

I really didn't plan on buying this one :) They didn't have any Chic no. 299 there, and I couldn't recall any of the other numbers in my "nail polish wish list", so… let myself down? No way! I looked all over that rotating stand until my eyes were captured by a creamy polish whose color reminds one of a dark plum. Great! I'll wear it for Tu BiShvat (The Jewish holiday marking the new year for trees). And so I did. The first layer seemed pretty red on my fingernails, the second layer browned-red, and the third looked deeper and thicker.

Definitely a stunning result!!! Don't you think so?
