CHIC no.299: A Reddish-brown cream

בכל יום שישי אחר-הצהריים, מעט לפני כניסת שבת קודש, אני מסיימת לארגן את עצמי לכבוד השבת, מתיישבת ומלבישה את ציפורניי בלק. ביום-יום אני נוהגת למשוח את ציפורניי, אבל לכבוד שבת קודש אני מלבישה אותן, אפילו שאותו לק ממש משמש אותי גם לימות החול...

אז הפעם לבשתי את 299 של שיק, חום אדמדם קרמי. ואמנם מספיקה שכבה אחת לא קמצנית, אבל שכבה נוספת אוטמת לחלוטין ומדגישה את הגוון החום. בחוץ, אגב, הוא נראה מעט בהיר יותר ולכן אפשר לתאר אותו אז כחום ורדרד כהה. סה"כ יוצא מאוד נחמד ואלגנטי. לא הלק האהוב עלי, אבל יפה לעין :-)

שיק מס' 299 CHIC 

Every Friday afternoon, shortly before Shabbat, I prepare for the Shabbat: shower, do my hair, put on decent clothes, makeup, and of course - wear nail polish.

Last Friday I wore 2 coats of CHIC no. 299, a reddish-brown cream. The second coat made it absolutely opaque and emphasized its brown shade.

The result was very nice and elegant. Not my favorite nail polish, but a nice looking one :-)

CHIC no. 54: Angora Cardi

חלפתי בקלות על פני הפרפומריה הראשונה בדרכי הביתה. בשניה כבר פזלתי לעברה, ובשלישית כבר נשברתי... כאילו הייתי תחת היפנוזה, רחמנא ליצלן, עיניי התבייתו על סטנד לקים של שיק שנראה כמו סביבון ענק. סובבתי אותו ונטלתי לק ארגמן כהה מעושן קרמי שעדיין לא הכרתי. בדיוק מה שחסר לי בחיים, עוד לק... אז נכון, שיק מס' 54 זה לק חדש והוא עולה רק 10 ש"ח, אבל באמת, זה תירוץ?! מרחתי 2 שכבות כי לא היה צריך יותר, מה גם שהוא אולי היה קצת סמיך יחסית. והתוצאה? אנגורה קרדי של אסי :-) 

אגב, לי הוא מרגיש כמו... קרם שוקולד ורוד מעושן. תענוג!

שיק מס' CHIC no. 54

I was on my way home when my eyes homed in on that rotating stand, shaped like a giant dreidel, in that small perfumery. I quickly explored it and fished out no. 54, a new nail polish by CHIC. After applying 2 coats I would describe it as a dusty dark-mauve cream, or much simply: "Angora Cardi" by ESSIE :-)

Is there anyone who doesn't agree with me? :)

CHIC no. 44 : Dark terracotta pink brown cream

ניגשתי לסופר פארם רק כדי לקנות מסיר לק. בלי לק, כמובן... אז לקחתי לי כרגיל את המסיר הוורוד של לייף מהמדף התחתון והרמתי את הראש. חטפתי סחרחורת! לא בגלל הראש. בגלל מבחר הלקים :-) מאות בקבוקי לק מסודרים בצפיפות במדפים שמעל מדף מסירי הלק. החלטתי שאין שום דבר רע בלהסתכל! אז רק הסתכלתי... הנזק: לק מס' 44 של שיק. שתי שכבות שלו על הציפורניים התגלו כקרם חום כתום ורוד עמוק, מאוד מאוד דומה ללק Kate של ZOYA. בתאורה חמה הוא נראה טרקוטה כהה (כתום חום), בתאורה פלורסצנטית חום ורוד (ואז הוא מאוד דומה ל-Muddy Rose של CND) , ובכל מקרה הוא מחמיא לאצבעות שלי :-) ‬. הוא גם משדר אצילות וסמכותיות ביחד עם צניעות, אז הוא בכלל מתאים לי.  
הלזה ייקרא נזק?! ;-)

 

  

 

 

 

שיק מס' CHIC no. 44

I just wanted to buy a nail polish remover there, that's all. My legs and eyes led me straight to the relevant shelf. I bent down, took my usual remover and stood up. Surpriiiiise! On the upper shelves were hundreds of bottles of nail polish, densely organized! How can one ignore them?!  OK, I'm just browsing. There's nothing wrong with just looking, right? Well…the damage was CHIC no. 44, a dark terracotta pink brown cream. A nail polish amazingly resembling "Kate" by ZOYA, and whose color and shades change under different lighting. It sometimes looks brownish-orange, and sometimes pink-brown, but it always compliments my fingers :-) ‬. This polish gives off an air of aristocracy and authoritativeness along with decency, so it's naturally fits me… ;-) ‬

CHIC no. 277 לכבוד טו' בשבט

גם אותו ממש לא תכננתי לקנות. חיפשתי בסטנד של שיק את 299 שהוא הראשון ברשימת הקניות שלי, אבל לצערי לא היה להם. ניסיתי להיזכר בעוקבים אחריו ברשימה ולא הצלחתי... לאכזב את עצמי? אין מצב! המשכתי לסובב את הסטנד עד שעיניי נאחזו בלק קרמי מס' 277 בצבע שמזכיר שזיף כהה. זהו! את השזיף הזה אלבש לכבוד טו' בשבט :-) ואכן לבשתי אותו. בשכבה הראשונה הוא נראה אדמומי, בשניה אדום-חום, ובשלישית אדום-חום שזיף סמיך ועמוק... וואוו! יצא חלק ומהממממם. איך אמרתם שקוראים לצבע הזה? ומפירי?

 

 

 

 שיק CHIC 277

I really didn't plan on buying this one :) They didn't have any Chic no. 299 there, and I couldn't recall any of the other numbers in my "nail polish wish list", so… let myself down? No way! I looked all over that rotating stand until my eyes were captured by a creamy polish whose color reminds one of a dark plum. Great! I'll wear it for Tu BiShvat (The Jewish holiday marking the new year for trees). And so I did. The first layer seemed pretty red on my fingernails, the second layer browned-red, and the third looked deeper and thicker.

Definitely a stunning result!!! Don't you think so?
